{"id":40010,"title":"QPR launch club's first LGBT group","description":"6 Oct 2017\n\nQUEENS Park Rangers FC is delighted to announce the formation of our first LGBT supporters group \u2018Rainbow Rangers\u2019","content":"<p><em>This post was first published on <\/em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/qpr.co.uk\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>qpr.co.uk<\/em><\/a><em> on 6 Oct 2017 by Andy Watkins<\/em><\/p><p><strong>QUEENS Park Rangers FC is delighted to announce the formation of our first LGBT supporters group \u2018Rainbow Rangers\u2019.<\/strong><\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/2jdpxiww8knghtbhfcbpoulcfvjfykfnxwlt15tmtgzhnnwp.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"2jdpxiww8knghtbhfcbpoulcfvjfykfnxwlt15tmtgzhnnwp.png.png?w=1140&amp;v=2\" \/><\/p><p>Hot on the heels of National Inclusion Week, the group has been created to welcome fellow R\u2019s from the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community and allies, whilst further supporting the club\u2019s continued campaign to help kick homophobia out of football.<\/p><p>It follows an advert in QPR\u2019s matchday programme and social media channels which was warmly received by the Rangers faithful.<\/p><p>R's fan and group leader Emma Miller-McCaffrey was behind the advert and has been overwhelmed by the response, telling <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qpr.co.uk\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.qpr.co.uk<\/a>: \u201cWe\u2019re very proud of the support QPR has shown us in getting the group off the ground.
